- 800 g beans without strings
- 60 g sweet butter
- 500 g fresh roma tomatos
- 1 piece of onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- sage leaves
- vegetable broth
- salt
- pepper

- Trim the beans and wash
them
- Cook them half way in boiling salted water in an uncoverd
pot
- Drain
- Dip the tomatos for a few minutes in boiling water and peel
them; remove the seeds and drain
- Dice the tomatos
- In the butter, golden the onion and the sage leaves with
the garlic, which them you remove
- Add the beans and let them soak up the aroma
- Add the tomatos, salt, and pepper
- Boil on low heat for about half an hour, adding broth when
necessary
